At Pearl City Marine Products Pvt. Ltd, the fish is harvested from the clean unpolluted waters of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean in India. The catch is delivered immediately to our plant in iced condition, thereby ensuring the freshness of the raw material. For easy tracking each incoming vehicle with raw material gets a weigh bridge slip number and an unloading slip number with the time of unloading recorded and are thoroughly inspected by FRGP personnel before being unloaded.
The processed fish segregated in the receiver area is taken to their respective cookers, where it is cooked, pressed and dried. Gentle cooking and drying improve nutritional value – especially digestibility and kills the harmful microbes in the fish. The final output becomes fishmeal and fish oil, which are processed separately.
At the packing section, the fish meal is packed in quality HDPE bags, where each bag is assigned a unique identification number for traceability. The packed material is then stitched and palletized. Samples from each batch are also sent to the lab for inspection
Our highly interconnected and centralized drainage system takes all the chemical wastes to the Effluent Treatment Plant. This ensures utmost hygiene not just to our products but also for the environment.
Our advanced microbiological laboratory helps us to ensure the quality of the product with each batch during production as well as before dispatch.
